July 25, 2009 was exactly 100 years, as in Russia flew the first airplane.
The historian and the aircraft builder Georgy Galli straight at home
reconstructs «Farman» and
«Voisin» planes. This is
not a model, but the real aircraft - exact copies of airplanes such as
flew in Russia in the early 20 century!

The historical airplane "Farman-4". The First Flight 2013
The airplane "Farman-4" is constructed in St. Petersburg in 2012 by order and with the participation of the company "Russian Airshow". To flight status prepared in 2013 by this company.
It's the exact flying copy, constructed according to original drawings of 1910, the main educational airplane of the Russian military pilots from 1910 to 1918.
It's the second flying copy of the airplane "Farman-4", made by the group of enthusiasts from St. Petersburg and Moscow (builders of the copy of the same "Farman" in 2010) within 2 months in the summer of 2012.
In August, 2013 the first flight tests were carried out. Further flights it is planned to carry out in 2014.
The first copy of "Farman-4"(2010) was under construction about 20 years. It's exposed in the "Military-Historical Museum of Artillery, Engineer and Signal Corps" in the St. Petersburg.

Engineer,
historian, and the pilot of ultralights from St. Petersburg, Georgy Galli many years recreates the legendaryHenri Farman's historic airplane. On this aircraft early 20th century, learned to fly almost all the Russian pilots of the era the birth of aviation.

Now the airplane, "Farman-4" is on the exhibition at the Military-Historical Museum Of Artillery, Engineer And Signal corps.
